First Bike Ride of the Season!

I hit the road for the inaugural ride, after work today. It was in the low 40s, very sunny, not too windy. Reasonably comfortable, all-in-all. So I logged almost 20 miles before dinner.

This was, by far, the most snow I on the ground when I have ridden. However due to the warm temps and very sunny days, the roads were clean and dry.

  1. 1st time out and you went 20 miles, nice ride. Are you sore?

I just went out earlier this week as well.

  2. Nice!--how many miles did you put on the new bike last year? I ride the ex bike all winter, so I usually hit the ground running, come outdoor biking season (pun intended). It is a good sign when the most sore part of your body is not your legs, not even your back, but your keester!
